Auto Body Repair in Heath for Doors, Fenders and Everything Between
A sliding door that met a garage post, a fender scraped in a crowded lot off FM 740, a quarter panel creased in the Terry Lane area: we fix the metal and the parts behind it.
(000) 000-0000 puts you through to our body teamMore Than Skin Behind Every Panel
A modern door is a lot more than a sheet of painted steel. Tucked inside are side-impact beams, window regulators, speakers, wiring and often a pressure sensor that tells the side airbags when to fire. On a minivan or crossover, that same door is the one your kids open a dozen times a day. So when we repair body damage, we keep all of those parts in mind, not just the dent. We start by removing trim so we can see what the impact reached, then weigh up repairing the panel against fitting a new one. Throughout, you get honest recommendations and clear explanations, never pressure.
Body Work We Carry Out on Every Job
Each panel repair includes these steps, so the finished door or fender looks right and works right for the people who use it.
Trim off, damage traced
Interior trim and liners come out so we can follow the impact past the outer skin and find any bent brackets or cracked clips.
Side-impact beam inspection
The reinforcing beam inside each door is checked for kinks, since a bent beam cannot protect passengers the way it was built to.
Pressure and impact sensors handled gently
Sensors inside doors and pillars are disconnected properly, protected during the work and tested once everything is reconnected.
Metal coaxed back before any filler
We work the steel or aluminum back toward its original shape first, keeping body filler to a thin finishing layer.
A new panel when repair is not right
If a panel is torn, stretched or too thin to save, we fit a new one and explain why it was the better choice.
Child locks and power doors tested
Rear child safety locks, power sliding doors and liftgates are cycled to confirm they latch and respond as they should.
Sealer and corrosion protection restored
Factory-style sealers and cavity coatings go back in so moisture from rainy weeks and lake air stays out of the seams.
Gaps set for a quiet cabin
Panel gaps and weatherstrips are adjusted so doors close with a soft thunk and the cabin stays quiet at highway speed.
Our Path From Dented to Done
- 01
Inspect behind the panel
We remove enough trim to see every layer the impact touched. Photos go into your file so you and any adjuster see the same evidence. We then explain whether we recommend repair or replacement. You leave knowing what comes next.
- 02
Straighten, fit and seal
The panel is reshaped or replaced, and new parts are hung and checked for fit ahead of paint so the body lines match. Inner sensors and wiring are reconnected and checked. Seam sealer and corrosion coatings go on where the factory had them. Every bracket is tightened back to specification.
- 03
Refinish and check the details
Color goes on and is feathered toward the panels beside it. We reinstall trim, test windows, locks and child safety locks, and scan for warning lights. Finally, we close every door to make sure it latches cleanly. Once all of that passes, you get a call that the car is ready.
What Careful Panel Work Means for Your Household
Doors your kids can count on
Child locks, power doors and latches are tested by hand, not assumed. A door that rattles or sticks is not a finished repair in our book.
Advice without the hard sell
When a panel can be saved, we say so. When replacement is the safer path, we explain the reason in everyday language.
Hidden parts get equal attention
The beam and sensor inside the door matter as much as the paint on the outside, and we treat them that way. You will hear about them even when nothing needed fixing.
Got a Dent the Kids Keep Pointing Out?
Panel damage is easier to judge in person than in a photo. Ring us, describe what happened, and we will tell you what a visit to the shop will look like.
